CIKI? Outdoor Summer Series Returns with Movies, DJs, and Southeast DC Vibes
The highly anticipated CIKI? Outdoor Summer Series is making its long-awaited return to the District—and this year, it’s going bigger than ever. With three dynamic evenings planned across Southeast DC, this free community event brings together film, music, and local culture for a one-of-a-kind summer experience.
Each event features a sunset DJ set at 7 PM, setting the mood before the big-screen showcase at 8:30 PM. The curated film lineup spans genres and generations:
August 16: Captain America: Brave New World at Anacostia Park
September 20: The Last Dragon at Skyland Town Center
October 25: I’m Gonna Git You Sucka at the Capitol Hill Boys & Girls Club
In addition to movie magic and music, the September 20th screening includes a pop-up marketplace starting at 5 PM, spotlighting local vinyl dealers, fashion vendors, and creative entrepreneurs.
