Celebrate Juneteenth at the Anacostia Community Museum
The Anacostia Community Museum is inviting the community to come together for an all-day Juneteenth celebration on Friday, June 19, from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM.
Centered around the theme “Power in the Past. Strength in the Future,” the free neighborhood block party-style event will transform the museum grounds into a vibrant gathering space filled with live music, spoken word performances, interactive workshops, youth activities, foodways conversations, gardening experiences, and more. The museum will also remain open late throughout the celebration.
The Main Stage entertainment lineup includes performances and appearances by:

The celebration will conclude with a high-energy outdoor late skate experience in the museum parking lot featuring music by DJ B Sharp.
