A new platform dedicated to uplifting voices from Ward 7 is launching this spring—and the community is invited to be part of the very first live recording.

On Saturday, April 4, the debut episode of the We Are Ward 7 Podcast will take place at Francis A. Gregory Neighborhood Library, highlighting the stories and experiences of local residents Ashley Ruff and Ebbon Allen.

This new podcast series aims to celebrate the people who make Ward 7 vibrant, resilient, and deeply connected. Attendees will have the opportunity to sit in on the live recording, hear firsthand stories, and engage with a growing storytelling platform centered on the community.

The We Are Ward 7 Podcast plans to record new episodes twice a month, continuing to spotlight individuals who are shaping and inspiring the neighborhood. Community members are encouraged to suggest future guests and help expand the reach of these local stories.
