Ballou High School Pool Is Officially Back Open!

Great news for Ward 8 and DC swimmers: the Ballou High School Pool has officially reopened after being closed since last summer. The reopening brings a much-needed indoor swimming option back to the community just in time for the colder months.

What to Know

• DC residents: Swim for free with a valid DC ID (free DPR account required)

• Non-DC residents: Paid memberships available (single-visit punch pass, 5- or 10-visit passes, or 30- and 90-day passes)

• All indoor pools are operated by DC Department of Parks and Recreation

Monday – Friday:
6–9 AM & 4–9 PM

Saturday & Sunday: Closed

Note: Pools in DCPS schools close during the day while school is in session.
