August 25 - 29 | Temporary Lane Closures on Kenilworth Avenue Freeway

(WASHINGTON, DC) — The District Department of Transportation (DDOT) is temporarily closing single lanes on the following roadways for bridge inspections:

Kenilworth Avenue Freeway near Foote Street NE, alternating right and left lane closures of Northbound and Southbound Kenilworth Avenue Freeway near Foote Street NE on Monday, August 25 through Friday, August 29, 2025, during the hours of 10:00AM to 3:00 PM, weather permitting.

Motorists are encouraged to plan ahead, allow for additional travel time, and consider alternative routes.

Traffic controls, including signage, will be in place to guide motorists safely through the work zones. All roadway users are advised to stay alert and be observant of signage and work zones while traveling in this area.
