On Saturday, August 29, 2026, the Ready, Set, Safe! Back-to-School Family Day will take place in the District of Columbia. In conjunction with this event, there will be parking restrictions and street closures that motorists should take into consideration:

On Saturday, August 29, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the following street will be posted as Emergency No Parking and closed to vehicle traffic. 

• D Street, between 7th Street and 8th Street, SE
