Aug 29 | Culture Quest Kids Fest: STEAM and Creativity Lab

Families are invited to spend an afternoon exploring creativity, culture, and hands-on learning during Culture Quest Kids Fest: STEAM and Creativity Lab on Saturday, August 29, from 3–7 PM at the Deanwood Recreation Center in Washington, DC.

The free community festival will bring together interactive experiences focused on STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics), reading literacy, and creativity, along with youth activities and live entertainment.

Presented by the Mayor’s Office on African American Affairs (MOAAA) in partnership with the DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) and the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities (CAH), Culture Quest Kids Fest is designed to give young people an opportunity to learn, explore, and create while celebrating culture and community.

Admission: FREE

Families can expect an afternoon filled with interactive learning experiences, youth activities, STEAM exploration, literacy-focused programming and live entertainment.
