Another Year Older, Still on the Rise š
Today Iām celebrating another trip around the sunāand feeling all the feelings about it. Gratitude? Absolutely. Joy? Big time. Mild shock at my new age? Letās just say Iām still processing. š
First things first: thank you. Iām incredibly thankful for my family, friends, and colleagues who show up for me consistentlyāthe ones who check in, hype me up, keep me grounded, and help create memories that Iāll be laughing about for years. 2025 gave me so many moments worth holding onto, and thatās because of the people in my life who make even the ordinary days feel special.
To celebrate, Iām doing what feels right: hosting a birthday party tonight (because why not?) and then later this month, taking myself on a much-needed trip to Aruba. Sun, sand, a reset button, and zero meetingsādonāt threaten me with a good time. š“š¹
I try to balance the excitement of celebrating another year with the very real surprise of realizing my age has changed again. Itās a delicate danceāequal parts gratitude and āwaitā¦how did that happen?ā But honestly, Iām feeling good, feeling loved, and feeling ready for whatever this next chapter brings.
One quick housekeeping note: in honor of my birthdayāand what may or may not be a legendary hangoverāI will not be posting on Sunday, January 4th. Consider it a brief pause for rest, recovery, and hydration. š§
Thank you for rocking with me, for reading, and for being part of this journey. Cheers to another year of growth, laughter, community, and risingāalways rising.
