Animal Welfare League of Arlington seeks PT Community Support Assistant - $14.25/hour

The Community Support Assistant is responsible for the front-desk customer service experience at the Animal Welfare League of Arlington. This is a part-time position working between 20-29 hours per week with occasional weekend, holiday and evening shifts. The Community Support Assistant is a resource at the front-desk providing assistance and information regarding owner surrenders, return to owners, wildlife issues, and questions from the public. This position is based in Arlington, Virginia.

Reporting Relationships

This position reports directly to the Director of Community Support. The Community Support Assistant will also work closely with all AWLA staff members, volunteers, and the general public on a regular basis.

This is a part time, nonexempt, 20-30 hour per week position with medical dental and vision benefits available for purchase at a discount rate, paid holidays and pro-rated vacation and sick time. Hours of work are morning 9AM – 2PM or afternoon 2PM -7PM. Applicants will also be considered for 2-3 full day shifts (9AM – 7PM). Salary is within the AAWA median range for this position.
