Anacostia Library Offers Free One-on-One Help for Job Seekers
Whether you're searching for your first job, returning to the workforce, or looking for your next career opportunity, the Anacostia Library is offering free resources to help you move your job search forward.
Throughout the summer, the library's Hiring Hub provides job seekers with one-on-one assistance every Monday and Thursday, offering practical support in a welcoming environment. Visitors can receive hands-on help reviewing and improving résumés, navigating online job searches, and building confidence throughout the application process.
In addition to the regular Hiring Hub sessions, the library also hosts Job Seekers Drop-In Clinics, where participants can receive individualized assistance with common job search tasks, including:
Creating an email account
Setting up job board accounts
Building and typing a résumé
Completing online job applications
These free sessions are designed to remove barriers that can make the job search process overwhelming, whether you're starting from scratch or simply need help updating your materials.
