Anacostia Community Museum Set to Welcome Visitors Back May 30

The Smithsonian’s Anacostia Community Museum is preparing to reopen on May 30 after several months of work to bring its next exhibition to life.

The museum has been closed since January while staff prepared the new gallery experience, but community programming and events have continued throughout the closure.

Visitors will soon once again be able to explore one of Southeast DC’s most important cultural institutions and gathering spaces.

More information about upcoming events and programming is available at anacostia.si.edu/events.
