Friends of Ketcham Elementary School seeks Board Members

FoKES envisions a school environment where each child has a robust, engaging learning experience. A place where children are challenged to become independent thinkers, collaborators, observers, and upstanding citizens. FoKES believes this can be done by ensuring teachers have the resources and capacity to provide a high-quality education fit for any and every child in the District of Columbia.

FoKES also envisions a safe learning space and desires to create a community of support around Ketcham. Partnering with local advocates, policymakers, business owners and neighbors, ‘friends’ endeavor to break systemic barriers from obtaining achievement equity and equality for our wonderful kids at Ketcham Elementary School.
