The Kojo Nnamdi Segment on Ward 8 Blogs

I'm back from doing the Kojo show.  It was so great discussing Congress Heights, Ward 8 and River East with Marc Fisher, the callers and my fellow Ward 8 bloggers, Barry Farm (re)Mixed and And Now, Anacostia. There was so much that we all wanted to say and we just didn't have enough time but it was great to have a positive and informative dialogue about Ward 8.

I am so appreciative of everyone who reads CHOTR and leaves comments - even if they differ from my own. The dialogue is so very important.

I loved the questions that came in.  I loved that we were all talking about River East.

"Big Ups" to our fellow River East bloggers who called into the show and who work so very hard on their own blogs to spread the word and increase the profile of their communities. I really do think that blogs serve an important role, especailly in River East where blogs are almost the only consistent River East news (hopefully that is changing).  With all the great things happening over here I can definetly see their being another River East bloggers show perhaps just Ward 7 where a lot of great things are happening.
