🏆 The Advoc8te's contribution to this week's City Paper Cover Story

I’ve had the honor of being featured in about 1/2 dozen or more City Paper cover stories over the years but this one may be one of my favorites. I was one of twelve DC residents asked to write a love letter to the District and it was a pretty cool experience. It’s hard to believe I first came to DC 25 years ago but what an experience it has been! I wouldn’t trade it for anything!

The District has given me so much (great friends, a sense of purpose and a profession I kick ass in) that I will forever be in her debt. And as this is the day before we celebrate another Southeast Love Day I think the timing is just about perfect!
