🌟 Nov 14 | Office of Planning Hosts DC 2050 Event in Ward 7 [SP]
DC’s Office of Planning (OP) is visiting neighborhoods throughout DC to talk with residents about DC2050.com – the District’s next comprehensive plan that will guide growth and development. We’re coming to Marshall Heights to show the community how residential neighborhoods can grow by incorporating new housing types. Since we know that DC is growing and people are continuing to move into the District, we want to help DC residents think about how neighborhoods can grow by incorporating new housing types, while also thinking about how different housing types fit into the neighborhood's character and look and feel.
Each event begins with a presentation outlining OP’s approach to growth in our communities and how different housing types can meet diverse District households' needs. Then, attendees will have the option to join either a short walking tour or a virtual tour around the neighborhood, both hosted by OP staff members. ASL interpretation will be provided.
