The Anacostia Playhouse has been a vital part of our community since 2013 โ and now thereโs a movement to bring it back after an 18-month closure. A new group, Anacostia Playhouse DC, led by founder Adele Robey and supported by ARCH Development and the Anacostia Arts & Culture District, is working to reopen this beloved cultural space.
