(WASHINGTON, D.C.) – On Wednesday, at 11:30 a.m. at the Bald Eagle Recreation Center, Mayor Muriel Bowser and District Department of Transportation (DDOT) Director Leif Dormsjo will launch this year’s Potholepalooza campaign, the District’s “War on Potholes.”
While DDOT has already filled nearly 7,300 potholes in the last two weeks, this Wednesday’s event officially kicks off the District’s spring season campaign to aggressively repair damaged roadways across the city within 48 hours.
This event is part of Mayor Bowser’s Pathways to the Middle Class Tour, a week-long effort leading up to the March 31st State of the District Address to highlight ways the Administration is helping to create Pathways to the Middle Class for D.C. residents.
To submit requests for pothole repairs, residents and commuters are encouraged to:
• Phone 311
• Visit DDOT’s online pothole repair site
• Tweet @DDOTDC and/or use hashtag #potholepalooza
• Email the Service Request Center
