I LOVE my job but to say my day is filled with meetings, interruptions, and distractions is an understatement. It took 16 attempts over 4 hours just to watch this 17 minute video (FYI - I screen TED talks to recommend to small businesses and entrepreneurs). When I was finally was able to finish watching the entire video (and only because I refused to move). I found the tips so helpful that I wanted it to share it here. I think for creative types such as myself the "typical" work environment can be very stressful and not very productive. Trying to squeeze "work moments" out of a work day can feel like a herculean task.
I'm going to try hard to implement some of the tips in this video. I am sure I am not the only one pushing "work" to after-hours, late nights, weekends and "sick" days just to get the job done. And that can only last for so long. What happens when "me time" is no longer for you?
