The 5 most expensive properties for sale in 20032

If you see a theme with my editorials as of late then you would be right. I really want to provoke/agitate/encourage people to look beyond the hype (and the fear) and at some real numbers.

I am not saying I have all the answers but I am asking you to question the rhetoric and take a long and hard look at what we need in Ward 8 so we know what exactly to ask for. I understand that "gentrification" is a controversial term but so is the reality of "ghetto-fication" and I want us all to be aware, prepared, and most importantly active.  We have to get away from the notion of accepting what we hear as fact without doing our own research. Fear is the great motivator of the uninspired.

Listing the top five most expensive properties in zip code 20032 according to Remax. No particular reason I always use Remax, I just do, maybe I like the hot air balloon in their commercials more than I think. :)

This 94 unit single family subdivision is in receivership and is now up for auction.

2 unit 3 bedroom apartment building

2 unit apartment building with 3 and 4 bedrooms

2 unit apartment building with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms per unit

The first single family on the list, this is a 4 bedroom + 4 bathroom colonial

There is a very interesting debate taking place on FB in "The Great Ward 8" group. Lots of interesting comments and people speaking honestly about the frustration of the lack of movement on home values rising.

Houston, we have a homeownership problem.
