Today's construction update from the Anacostia Arts Center

Lots to do to get the Anacostia Arts Center ready for its first event - the DO GOOD SUMMIT on Friday, May 3rd! Good news is that construction is ahead of schedule! Yeah! We have already signed a lease with a wellness group that will be holding yoga classes in one of the commercial spaces and one of the commercial suites will be available for short-term rentals such as pop-up galleries and special events.

Interested in leasing gallery or creative retail space in the Anacostia Arts Center? Go HERE to learn more. The Anacostia Arts Center is a project of arts and culture nonprofit ARCH Development Corporation. The new arts center is located in a former Woolworth building located at 1231 Good Hope Rd SE.

P.S. Are you a minority owned business or emerging business (operating for less than a year)? Think Local First, presenters of this year's DO GOOD SUMMIT have 30 sponsored scholarships for $49.50 tickets to this year's DO GOOD SUMMIT!  Contact Stacey for details at stacey@thinklocalfirstdc.com.
