Today at a presolicitation event at the Lincoln Theatre organized by the Office of the Deputy Mayor for Planning and Economic Development, Mayor Vince Gray dropped a whole bunch of arts news: One, the Lincoln Theatre is seeking a new operator. And two, H Street Playhouse, which started looking for a new, cheaper spot in January of this year, will be moving east of the river.
The mayor apparently scooped H Street Playhouse, which had been keeping quiet about its move and still hasn't announced where, exactly, it will land.
