Ward 8 Council Candidate Natalie Williams asks, "Would Calvary set aside a set number of beds for Ward 8 women?"
(short answer: no)

Ward 8 Council Candidate Jacque Patterson asked pointed questions about the lack of outreach to the ANC and what DC agencies allowed them to get their permits without that input.

Audience Question: If the upper floors are housing can the mainfloor be retail?
Short Answser: No. The entire building will be housing. Calvary: "We don't have a product to sell."

I really hope the best for my fellow EoR's, but it looks as if they are coming and there is nothing you can do about it. I suggest you and your neighbors stay armed with camera phones etc and take a picture of everything that goes on around them when they move in. Call the cops on everything and write letters every single time. Don't let up on them. You may not stop them, but you will send a STRONG message to anyone else thinking of showing your community this much disrespect. Maybe if you force them to stay on their toes, they will either keep a lock on that mess or get out eventually. Don't give up! We're all in this together.
