I have now seen it all. Watch the trailers for Marion Barry's Reality Show

Reactions:
I know I broke the story about Barry filming his own reality show but I was kind of  hoping against all hope (and common decency) that it wouldn't really happen. Clearly I don't know jack about Marion Barry.

I am posting the show clips below.  The Advoc8te is dying to hear what you think - especailly about the 2nd clip.

UPDATE: Okay I have now watched these clips a few times and just one word sums it all up: sad.  So very, very, very sad.

35 with 7 kids?! WTF?

To answer your question from last week about has welfare done more to hurt than help black people the answer is hurt. No single woman in her right mind would have 7 kids before her 35th birthday if she was expecting to have to provide for them on her own. With all this free time to make babies she could have gotten a job or learned a skill, besides being pregnant. I am not trying to be heartless but lets get real here. Some people are taking advantage of the system and just need to be kicked out of the program.

Wait a gosh darn minute. Tell me she is not wearing an Armani hat and has a lip ring! If this is not the poster child for welfare reform I don't know what is.

Why do I go to work? I should just stay home and have babies.

I love Marion Barry for entertainment value, however, it is a tragedy that he holds public office.

Interesting. I don't have kids because I can't afford them but that welfare mama can!!! I should quit my job and start having babies now so I can live high off the hog!! Work is so overrated!
