Well considering I just broke 11,000 hits since June of last year, I would say 10,000 hits in one week is a good thing. Congrats!
Thats just on your landing page. You have to check Google Analytics so it can include all your individual posts. I am sure your figures are at least double if not triple that.
It kind of sucks when I switched from .blogspot to .com that my counter basically reset but oh well.lol
