Mr. Perkins was shot and killed in his car at the corner of Oakwood and 4th Street SE in the Congress Heights neighborhood. Anyone with any information on this crime is asked to contact the the Homicide division. It is our responsibility as a community to bring these perpetrators to justice. We can not allow these few rotten apples to spoil the overall experience and perception of our wonderful neighborhood.
