Which when you think about it makes sense. You need phantom office space when you are doing phantom work.BTW - ANC 8C still has not held a special election to elect a Chair or a Vice Chair (which have to be able to be bonded) after the tie in JANUARY. There still hasn't been an executive meeting of the commissioners. Still haven't had an approved agenda and those missing financial reports are still missing.

Exactly. Can you imagine the things we could be doing with that money? I took a look at an audit for another ANC and I felt like I was dreaming! They were buying benches for their park, school books for kids, flowers for the streets AND they filed ALL their quauterly reports on time so they got ALL their allotments.
It was such a nice dream.
It is time to kick a$$es to the curb.
The entire DC government needs to be revamped! They can not get any policies in place so that things run seamlessly. When you have criminals sitting on the city council and ANC boards of course their will be madness!
